Fall SAT & ACT Prep Cohorts Now Open for Registration

August 02, 20263 min read

The fall testing season is almost here, and registration for our SAT and ACT prep cohorts is officially open. If your student is planning to test this fall, now is the moment to build a plan — the first regular registration deadlines arrive in mid-August, and our cohort seats fill quickly once school starts.

Why start now

The students who walk into test day calm are almost never the ones who crammed. They're the ones who started six to eight weeks out, took a practice test early, and spent their prep time on the sections that actually needed work. Starting now gives your student time for two or even three full practice tests before their date, with room to adjust along the way.

Our cohorts are small by design. Students work in 2-hour group classes led by experienced educators who teach the material, not just the tricks — because a student who understands the underlying algebra or grammar rule doesn't need to memorize twenty shortcuts for it. Group prep also keeps costs down compared to one-on-one sessions, and members save even more. If your student prefers individual attention, private SAT/ACT tutoring is available year-round, and many families combine both.

Fall 2026 test dates

Registration deadlines are set by College Board and ACT and typically close about three to five weeks before test day; late fees apply after the regular deadline. Always confirm dates on the official sites before registering.

Which date should your student choose?

For most juniors, the October or November dates hit the sweet spot: far enough into the school year that class material is fresh, early enough to leave room for a retake in the winter or spring. Seniors applying regular decision can generally test as late as December, but should confirm score deadlines with each college on their list. And if your student is deciding between the SAT and the ACT, we can help — a short diagnostic of each is the fastest way to find out where they'll score best.

Not sure where to start? That's exactly what our free consultation is for. We'll look at your student's timeline, target schools, and practice scores, and recommend a test, a date, and a prep plan that fits.

How to register

Cohort seats are limited and matched to the fall test dates, so earlier registration means more prep weeks before the exam. To reserve a spot or ask a question, call us at 512-222-3306, email [email protected], or visit our Test Prep page to book. Members get priority scheduling — one more reason membership pays for itself.

We can't wait to see what your student achieves this fall.
